icecream has been involved in the development of proposals for Grant Lodge,  a disused, category B listed mansion. The final proposal received the Elgin Civic Medal.

Nestled in leafy parkland on the outskirts of Elgin, Grant Lodge awaits a fresh refurbishment.  Divided from the town by a major primary route, this proposal not only bridges this necessary artery, but links the isolated parkland by means of a landscaped avenue, effectively pulling the park and it’s amenities into the town centre.  This continuity of promenade ensures Grant Lodge’s prominence in the journey from town centre to its major attraction, the Cathedral.  This new promenade is embellished by flanking pavilions, with Grant Lodge at centre stage.
