icecream has been shortlisted from a horde of applicants to collaborate with the Calman Trust in Inverness.  Calman are an inspirational organisation that encourages entrepreneurship and independence in the young people of Inverness.  The project involves the facilitation of an interactive workshop that aims to integrate the participants with the community under the theme of Urban v Nature.

It was important to us that the direction of the project was inevitably decided by the young participants themselves and that we merely fostered their input to install the framework for the evolution of the project.

In considering the theme urban v nature, an extensive mapping, exploration and intervention programme will ensue. Being led by the group, icecream will facilitate a documentation process including photography, film and model making which will be underpinned by research, community connections and an encouragement to engage and interact with the city, its people and the natural environment in which it exists.
